Jeza Belle’s SONG OF CHEER AGAIN recently won WeScreenPlay’s Diverse Voices contest in the Short Screenplay category. This contest is committed to “promoting and encouraging diverse voices and stories” in Hollywood and had close to 1,000 entries in the Spring 2017 competition. In SONG OF CHEER AGAIN, a mother is distraught when her gay son comes out to her as a drag queen.
In addition to SONG OF CHEER AGAIN, Jeza’s feature screenplay BLOOD ROUGE has film festivals in 2017 and placed in three others. Feature screenplay ARTHUR & SAMSON and short screenplay BUCKY have also both placed in two additional contests each.
